About me… there is so much to say so I will try to sum it up in a quick story…
I recently decided to take control of my life to live it how I want to and to get as many experiences out of it as I can. I was married in June to a wonderful man, and a few short months after that we decided to totally change our somewhat monotonous lives by quitting our jobs and moving to another state. After days of prayer and consulting our plan with friends and family we pursued our new life in earnest. Within the first week of our 2 weeks notice, my husband received a job offer to teach sixth grade science and social studies in Charlotte, NC. With a friends couch to sleep on and a start date, Michael packed up as much as he could into his Ford Explorer and was off to a new city 10 hours from home. I stayed behind to apartment hunt from my mother’s home in Western NY and attempt to get our belongings in order. After a week of living life like a nomad, we were rewarded with a cute apartment on the northern end of Charlotte. So I packed up my puppy and as much as I could fit into my moms car and made the trip down. A little over a month later I found a job and this is where our story begins….
